To commemorate my 20th year living in Boston and my 44th birthday, I will be presenting a concert of (mostly) my original music along with pianist, Carmen Staaf and bassist Tony Scherr in a rare Boston appearance of C.A.T. trio. The credentials and affiliations of these two internationally acclaimed musicians would take numerous paragraphs so I'll simply state that their musicianship, sound and presence in-person is far greater than a biography (or wikipedia page) can make them sound!
Therefore, I encourage you to join us at 7PM on Wednesday, January 29th at the Lily Pad - 1353 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA 02139. We will play ONE SET ONLYbetween 7-8PM. We are asking for a weeknight price of $15 ($10 for students) but, we will gladly accept whatever you may be able or willing to pay to experience live, interactive, joyful and, at times wistful and introspective music.
After more than a decade since my last recording as a bandleader, I'm very excited to announce a new EP entitled Things Are Looking Up with Troy Roberts: sax, Nate Radley: guitar, and Ana Petrova: organ. Head over to BANDCAMP to hear it now! And, check out the Full Length video of Things Are Looking Up from the studio below!
